The project involved the construction of a single storey pavilion with four chaging rooms with showers, referee's rooms, coaching/education room, plant room, kitchen, office, first aid room, all complete with electrical andc machanical engineering installations, drainage and external works.
This contgract ran on time and to cost. Pre-contract analysis and a pre-contract meeting we carried out to ensure our team identified any design issues with the architect and made any amendments necessary to the drawing prior to project commencement, therefore improving the project value and delivery. Effective pre-contract meetings with sub-contractors ensured the integrated delivery of the project. Utilising our effective supply chain management and building on the long term relationships we have with our sub-contractors, helped us to increase value and minimize risk on this contract.
All managers, sub-contractors and suppliers on this contract are from the local area and have a successful history of working with PLP Contruction.

We have worked with Oldham MBC for over twenty years and have built an excellent working relationship with our client.
The project consisted of replacing windows, doors, new roofs, pointing and new boundary walls on council owned properties in Oldham. The biggest contribution to the smooth running of this contract was the early identification of the disruption this refurbishment would cause to residents and neighbours. Addressing this at the pre-contract meeting and implementing a plan of tenant liaison to address these issues resulted in the full cooperation of the residents, which meant this contract progressed efficiently and on schedule.
All managers, sub-contractors and suppliers used on this project are from the local area and we have received some excellent feedback from householders.
"The management and site staff are a real credit to you, nothis is too much trouble for them. I'm entirely pleased, thank you! Mr and Mrs K. Booth

This project of a two storey entrance extension, a single storey laundry extension, a conservatory, internal remodeling and refurbishment to existing flats, warden's house, common room, kitchen and laundry, together with a external works and drainage.
This project was particularly problematic as it involved working in occupied premises, providing improved facilities for people with learning difficulties and the elderly. The old-style bedsits were changed to 2 bedroom flats with improved communal facilities, all designed to "Extra Care" standards. Working in the occupied premises proved difficult but we were able to programme the works around the tenants, liasing with them to ensure minimum discomfort and ensuring that goods and materials were stored safely and moved with the least amount of noise and dust. Our supervisors worked closely with our sub-contractors to keep disrumption to a minimum whilst the work was carried out.
Through regular site meetings with all relevant parties we were able to ensure client satisfaction, efficient budgetary control, and timely completion of works.

This project comprised of remodelling a large detached house. The development comprised of seven self-contained flats each containing a lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. We also added an extension to create a sleepover room for the duty carer. We carried out hard and soft landscaping with gates and fencing, block paved paths and drives.
This project ran very well and was completed on time and to budget. The client was very happy with the finished property.
