About PLP Construction

PLP Construction Limited is a family run business established 29 years ago in 1982 by Philip Bradley, Managing Director. The Company is built on a foundation of strong family values of honesty and openness which is reflected in the high level of repeat business we have from our Clients. We have a broad range of experience delivering both refurbishment and new build projects for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Schools and Local Dioceses throughout the North West. We also build individual luxury developments. All of our projects are primarily undertaken by our direct locally employed team which enables us to achieve high levels of quality by empowering them to implement a Right First Time approach on all our projects which significantly reduces defects, waste and duplication.

What Our Clients Say

All the work is first class, better than I could have hoped for, I have never been involved with new build before and was unsure what to expect, but it was made very easy with the help and advice from Laurie and on site with Owen.  If I ever build again I would first approach PLP before starting planning and have Laurie involved from early stage, his advice and knowledge is exceptional.

Well managed and effectively delivered to date with an excellent recognition of the schools needs. A clear understanding of the issues and impacts that such works have on a school. An excellent relationship with the school including additional input into whole school life and pupil career development

Paul Joannou, Business Manager, Canon Slade School

I found PLP Construction to be an excellent Contractor to work with, nothing was too much trouble for them and their Site Supervisor was First Class

Kevin Doyle, The Regenda Group Limehurst Village Project

We are writing to express our delight at the high standard of service we have received from PLP during the recent development works at both Ashworth Street Surgery and Norden Library. All the partners were impressed and reassured by the level of professional input from an early stage as well as a feeling of inclusivity in the project. It was felt everyones views were considered and wherever possible were incorporated into the plans. Both projects have added considerable value to the existing facilities and are a testament to the high standard of work we have received from PLP.

Pauline Mayor, Practice Manager, Ashworth Street Doctors Surgery

I can confirm that I have worked with PLP Construction since 2008, during which time they have carried out two major projects and a variety of repairs and maintenance efficiently and effectively. They have a professional team who never fail to deliver on time and takes care of all aspects including health and safety. Our business relationship with them has been very smooth, easy and satisfactory. I can confidently recommend PLP as a solid and reliable company and experts in their field. It is due to their efficient service that we have appointed PLP Construction for another school project.

Esperanza Parker, Estates Manager, Stockport High School

I wouldnt hesitate to recommend PLP for future work. The experience has been really positive, and the project has been completed on time and in the true spirit of partnership working. The project team were found to be very helpful, going that extra mile to engage with the local community and embracing the principles of the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Information was also always provided in a timely manner and there was a good understanding of the Associations funding & audit requirements and the impact these have on timescales. A job well done

Rowley, Development Manager, Ruth Street, Gorton - Affinity Sutton.

As I retire from headship, I feel satisfied that the school is being left in good order, providing a learning environment that is now fit for purpose and is a joy to work in for both children and staff. All of this is due in no small part to the commitment and skills of yourself and your team at PLP. Whether is has been peter, Mark, Kieran, Craig or whoever doing the work, they have always made a great job of the improvements and have been a pleasure to have around our school

Mrs J M Woods, Headteacher, St. Michaels C.E. Primary School, Atherton.
